Properties are individual websites, apps, or OTT channels that your organization controls. In this article, we will cover how to create multiple properties simultaneously by uploading a csv file into your Sourcepoint portal.
Click Properties on the left-hand rail and select Properties from the subsequent menu.
Click + Bulk Upload Properties on the following page.
Download the Sample CSV Template onto your local machine to view the required formatting for your csv file.
The template includes two columns and each row is a property you wish to create.
Property | Type |
Name of the property |
|
Please review the following naming conventions/rules before saving your new property:
Web properties
Rule | Example |
Use the wildcard character *. to have your messages appear on more than one subdomain. Click here to learn more. | *.example.com |
Property name should be in all lowercase. | example.com |
Exclude the protocol identifier (e.g. http:// or https:// ) from the name of the property. |
|
Exclude any path or sub-folder after the top-level domain. | example.com |
If the property redirects to another domain for a service then the "redirect" domain needs to be mapped to the original domain either through the Sourcepoint portal or using the propertyHref parameter in your implementation. |
App properties
Rule | Example |
Names for app properties are case sensitive. | |
We recommend using a period in your app property name instead of a hyphen or underscore. | app.mobile |
Drag and drop the csv file containing your properties/types into the provided space. Sourcepoint will parse the csv file and display the properties it will create within the modal.
Click Upload when finished.
The properties uploaded via csv will be created for your Sourcepoint account.
