Permission: Campaign entities
A scenario allows your organization to define the conditions/use cases for when a messaging experience should be presented to an end-user who visits you property. In this article, we will cover how to import an existing scenario into an individual property.
Note: If your organization utilizes different versions of Sourcepoint's script (e.g. GDPR TCF v2 Legacy script and multi-campaign script) across your properties, you will be unable to import a scenario from a property using the multi-campaign script into a property using a legacy script.
If importing a scenario from a property using legacy script into property using multi-campaign script, you will need to set the Campaign Type for the imported scenario.
Click Campaigns on the left-hand panel and select Scenarios from the menu.
Use the property field in the upper right-hand corner to select a property for which you will import a scenario.
Click the Import button in the top-right corner to open the import modal.
Use the appropriate fields in the subsequent modal to select a property to which the scenario belongs and the scenario that should be imported.
Click Import when finished.
The imported scenario will be added to your scenarios list with the word copy appended to the original name.
Note: If the imported scenario has campaign type No Type designated, click the Set Type button and select the correct campaign type from the dropdown list.
