Permission: Reporting TCFv2
The GDPR campaign dashboard allows users in your organization with the appropriate access to see how your GDPR consent experience is performing across and within property/properties, and/or property groups.
- Generate GDPR campaign dashboard
- Page view status
- Unique user status
- Messaged users status
- Report data deduplication
Note: Due to a necessary restructuring of data tables to support new metrics in the GDPR campaign dashboard, the report can only provide historical data for your organization beginning on November 9th, 2020.
Generate GDPR campaign dashboard
The GDPR campaign dashboard can be accessed by clicking Reporting on the left-hand panel and selecting GDPR Campaign Dashboard from the subsequent menu.
Use the provided report criteria panel to add different report criteria to the GDPR campaign dashboard. Click here for more information on how to manage report criteria.
Note: Users can only generate reports on property or properties to which they have access.
The GDPR campaign dashboard will automatically repopulate as you add, edit, and delete report criteria. The report can be organized by three key reporting areas: Page view status, Unique user status, Messaged users status.
Page view status
When the GDPR campaign dashboard is organized by page view status, the report will aggregate the end-user's consent statuses across the total number of new and returning views your selected property/properties received in the configured periodization.
Note: This reporting area will count every visit to the property/properties in the configured periodization and include repeat visits by the same user. If an end-user visits a property 100 times and changes their consent status 100 times in the configured periodization, it will be counted 100 times according to the status definitions.
Metrics that can be reported on and visualized for views include:
Metric | Description |
Total | Total page views for the selected properties in the configured periodization. |
Accept All | Page views across users who have accepted all purposes and vendors on the most recent version of the vendor list. |
Legitimate Interest Only | Page views across users who selected Save and Exit across any version of the vendor list if legitimate interest is a legal basis for at least one of your purposes. |
Reject All |
Page views across users who have rejected all purposes and vendors across any version of the vendor list.
|
Previous Accept All | Page views across users who have accepted all purposes and vendors on a previous version of the vendor list. These users may be eligible to receive a re-consent experience. |
All other choices | Page views across users who have made choices on the privacy manager that do not fall into the categories Accept All, Reject All, Previous Accept All or, Legitimate Interest Only on any version of the vendor list. |
No choices made | Page views across users who have not made any choices on the consent banner on any version of the vendor list. |
Unique user status
When the GDPR campaign dashboard is organized by unique user status, the report will aggregate the end-user's consent status across the total number of unique end-users who visited your selected property/properties received in the configured periodization.
Unique users are calculated based on a uuid
created by the Sourcepoint consent service which is subsequently sent through our reporting pipeline to attribute actions to the end-user. If your organization utilizes an authId
to identify your end-users, we will map this authId
to the uuid
created by our consent service to persist the end-user's consent preferences across their devices.
Note: This reporting area will count only unique end-users to the property/properties in the configured periodization. If an end-user visits a property 100 times and edits their consent status 100 times in the configured periodization, only the end-user's latest consent status will be counted.
Statuses that can be reported on and visualized for unique end-users include:
Metric | Description |
Total | Total number of users for the selected properties in the configured periodization. |
Accept All | Unique users who have accepted all purposes and vendors on the most recent version of the vendor list. |
Legitimate Interest Only | Unique users who have clicked Save and Exit across any version of the vendor list if you have legitimate interest as a legal basis for at least one of your purposes. |
Reject All |
Unique users who have rejected all purposes and vendors across any version of the vendor list.
|
Previous Accept All | Unique users who have accepted all purposes and vendors on a previous version of the vendor list. These users may be eligible to receive a re-consent experience. |
All other choices | Unique users who have made choices on the privacy manager that do not fall into the categories Accept All, Reject All, Previous Accept All or, Legitimate Interest Only on any version of the vendor list. |
No choices made | Unique users who have not made any choices on the consent banner on any version of the vendor list. |
Messaged user status
When the GDPR campaign dashboard is organized by messaged user status, the report will aggregate the actions taken by an end-user who was presented with your consent experience for your selected property/properties in the configured periodization. Use this reporting area to understand how end-users are actioning upon your consent experience.
Metrics that can be reported on and visualized for unique end-users include:
Metric | Description |
Total Users | Number of users who visited (when viewing by numbers only). |
Messaged Users | Unique users within the periodization who received a message. |
Accept All |
Unique users within the periodization who received a message and then accepted all vendors and purposes.
|
Legitimate Interest Only | Unique users within the periodization who received a message and then clicked Save and Exit on the privacy manager if you have legitimate interest as a legal basis for at least one of your purposes. |
Reject All | Unique users within the periodization who received a message and then rejected all vendors and purposes. |
All other choices | Unique users within the periodization who received a message and then made choices on the privacy manager that do not fall into the categories Accept All, Reject All, Previous Accept All or, Legitimate Interest Only. |
No choices made | Unique users within the periodization who received a message and then took no action. |
Report data deduplication
Deduplication is a common task for most reporting tools and is a technique that eliminates a dataset's redundant information so only a single instance of the data is stored. For a variety of reasons, Sourcepoint servers may be pinged multiple times with the same data, and we run periodic checks to remove duplicates and preserve the most recent data.
