An inline privacy manager allows your organization to add to or replace the content of an existing HTML element on a web page with your privacy manager. This display is achieved by inputting the target HTML element's ID or class in the privacy manager builder.
Click Messages on the left-hand panel and select a regulatory regime (GDPR Messages, U.S. Privacy Messages (Legacy), or U.S. Multi-State Privacy Messages).
Click Web/Webview from either subsequent menu.
Note: When building a privacy manager for the GDPR regulatory regime, you will have the option to select either a Web/Webview message for either TCF or Standard.
Use the property field in the upper right-hand corner to select a property for which you will create an inline privacy manager.
Click the Privacy Manager tab and then navigate to + New Message to create a new privacy manager.
Use the subsequent page to customize the privacy manager for the property.
Note: Sourcepoint recommends that you begin the configuration of the privacy manager from a template.
While on the Home view of the privacy manager builder expand the Settings accordion on the left-hand Settings panel.
Select Inline from the Message Type field. Use the subsequent field to input the div target type (Class or ID) or name.
The ID or class name needs to be unique and placed on your page where you would like the inline privacy manager to show.
Click Create Message when finished to save your progress.
