Button action reference guide (Privacy manager)

In this article, we will review the various actions you can assign to a button in your privacy manager across all supported regulatory frameworks.

The following actions are assignable for GDPR TCF and GDPR Standard privacy managers:

Action	Description
Accept Legitimate Interest Only	Continue without agreeing. Reject all purposes whose legal basis is user consent while allowing purposes whose legal basis is legitimate interest. Click here for more information.
Save & Exit	Save the consent selections/edits and exit the GDPR TCF or GDPR Standard privacy manager.
Accept All	Accept all categories and vendors.
Reject All	Reject all categories and vendors.
Cancel	Dismiss GDPR TCF or GDPR Standard privacy manager and any consent selections/edits are not saved.
Custom JS	Execute JavaScript configured in the provided space when the button is selected.
Go To Custom View	Switch view to configured custom view.
Go To Default PM View	Switch view to the default privacy manager view

The following actions are assignable for U.S. Privacy (Legacy) privacy managers:

Action	Description
Save & Exit	Save the consent selections/edits and exit the U.S. Privacy (Legacy) privacy manager.
Accept All	Accept all categories and vendors.
Reject All	Reject all categories and vendors.
Cancel	Dismiss U.S. Privacy (Legacy) privacy manager and any consent selections/edits are not saved.
Custom JS	Execute JavaScript configured in the provided space when the button is selected.

Action	Description
Save & Exit	Save the consent selections/edits and exit the U.S. Multi-State Privacy privacy manager.
Accept All	Accept all categories and vendors.
Reject All	Reject all categories and vendors.
Cancel	Dismiss U.S. Multi-State Privacy privacy manager and any consent selections/edits are not saved.
Custom JavaScript	Execute JavaScript configured in the provided space when the button is selected.
