Sourcepoint's integration with Hubspot allows your organization to collect end-user marketing preferences and to push those choices to Hubspot Marketing Hub or Hubspot Content Hub. In this article, we will cover how to enable the Hubspot integration for Sourcepoint Preferences.
To start, click Preferences on the left-hand panel and select the Integration Hub tab on the subsequent page.
Click + New Connection.
Prerequisites
Before continuing with the integration please be aware that you will need the following information to successfully complete the integration with Hubspot:
- Hubspot App ID
- Hubspot Client ID
- Hubspot Client Secret
The above information can be found from the Auth page of your app settings in your HubSpot developer account.
Note: While not required, your organization may want to create (if you already haven't) email subscription types in your Hubspot Marketing Hub or Hubspot Content Hub. These subscriptions types can be pulled into Sourcepoint via the integration and mapped-to when setting up your Preferences configuration.

Review the workflow below an overview of how to setup the Sourcepint integration with Hubspot:

- Manually create connection categories
Pull Hubspot email subscription types into connection categories
If you have selected the Add Connection Categories after saving the connection option during the authentication step, you will be directed to the connection category modal to begin the import of HubSpot email subscription types into connection categories.
Note: This modal is always accessible from the Integration Hub page by selecting the gear icon underneath the Connection categories column.
Click the Pull Categories button to initiate the pull.
Sourcepoint will import the HubSpot ID and Name for all of your Hubspot email subscription types into the connection categories.
Note: Remove any Hubspot email subscription type from your connection categories by clicking the - icon inline. Connection categories created by pulling directly from Hubspot email subscription types are uneditable.
Click Save when finished.
Manually create connection categories
To manually create connection categories, click the the gear icon underneath the Connection categories column in the Integration Hub.
Click + Add in the following modal.
Input an ID and Name for your connection categories in the provided fields and click the check to confirm the addition.
Note: Be aware that manually created connection categories within the Sourcepoint portal will not be pushed or synced into your Hubspot account's email subscription types if there is no corresponding match to the ID used.
Click Save when finished.
