Manage Marketing Preference connections

Connections refer to the mapping defined between your organization's Marketing Preference categories and any categories for the integrations (connection categories) you may have set up within the Universal Consent and Preferences integration hub. 

In this article, we will cover how to perform the following for an existing Marketing Preference category

• Add Marketing Preference category connection
• Edit Marketing Preference category connection
• Delete Marketing Preference category connection

To start, click Universal Consent and Preferences on the left-hand panel and select a configuration from the subsequent list. 

From the selected configuration page, navigate to the Marketing Preferences section and click Manage Connections. 

Add Marketing Preference category connection

Select a Marketing Preference category for which you wish to add a connection from the modal and click + Add Connection.

Use the dropdown menus in the following fields to select the connection categories you wish to map to the Marketing Preference category:

Click the check icon when finished

Click Save to confirm the addition.

Edit Marketing Preference category connection

Select a Marketing Preference category to edit from the modal and click the Edit icon inline with one of the mapped connections.

Use the dropdown menus in the following fields to edit the connection categories you wish to map to the Marketing Preference category:

Click the Check icon when finished.

Click Save to confirm the edits.

Delete Marketing Preference category connection

Select a Marketing Preference category to delete from the modal and click the Delete icon inline with one of the mapped connections.

Confirm the decision to delete the connection in the popup and click Yes.

The category will no longer be mapped to the connection and its connection category.

Click Save to confirm the deletion.
