Universal Consent and Preferences configurations are configurable lists that capture your organization's specified marketing preference categories and/or legal transactions that is surfaced through your Universal Consent and Preferences message. In this article, we will cover how to perform the following
- Add property to Universal Consent and Preferences configuration
- Remove property from Universal Consent and Preferences configuration
- Add property group to Universal Consent and Preferences configuration
- Remove property group from Universal Consent and Preferences configuration
To start, click Universal Consent and Preferences on the left-hand panel and select a configuration from the subsequent list.
From the selected Universal Consent and Preferences configuration page, navigate to the Property pane and click the Edit icon.
Add new property to Universal Consent and Preferences configuration
Ensure the Properties tab is selected. Add a property to the configuration by selecting the toggle to the right of the property name. Selected properties will appear in the right-hand pane of the section.
If the selected property belongs to a property group, the property will be listed under the property group name. Otherwise, the property will be listed under Not in any property group.
Click Save to confirm your additions.
Remove property from Universal Consent and Preferences configuration
To remove a property from the configuration, navigate to the right-hand pane and click the X to the right of the property name.
The property will be removed from the configuration. Click Save to confirm the removal(s).
Add property group to Universal Consent and Preferences configuration
Ensure the Groups tab is selected. Add a property group to the configuration by selecting the + to the right of the property group name. Selected property groups will appear in the right-hand pane of the modal and list all the properties contained within that group.
Note: If an individual property was added and it also belongs to a property group you will be unable to add the property group to the configuration. In this case, you will first need to remove the individual property first and then add the property group.
Click Save to confirm your additions.
Remove property group from Universal Consent and Preferences configuration
To remove a property group from the configuration, ensure the Groups tab is selected and click the - to the right of a property group name.
The property group will be removed from the vendor list. Click Save to confirm the removal(s).
