Permission: Campaign entities
A partition set allows your organization to divide end-users who visit a property into one or more distinct partitions (groupings) who can receive different messaging scenarios. In this article, we will cover how to import a configured partition set from another property into the current property.
Note: If your organization utilizes different versions of Sourcepoint's script (e.g. GDPR TCF v2 legacy script and multi-campaign script) across your properties, you will be unable to import a partition set from a property using the multi-campaign script into a property using a legacy script.
If importing a partition set from a property using legacy script into property using multi-campaign script, you will need to set the Campaign Type for the imported partition set.
Click Campaigns on the left-hand panel and select Partition Sets from the menu.
Use the property field in the upper right-hand corner to select a property for which you will import a partition set.
Click Import on the partition set list page:
From subsequent dialog box:
- Select a property from which you are importing a partition set
- Select the partition set to import
Optionally, if you would like to import scenarios and messages associated with the partition set then select the respective checkboxes.
Note: Options to import scenarios and messages alongside the partition set will not be available if you import a partition set into a property group.
Click Import to start the import process.
A new partition set will appear in the partition set list, the partition set name will have the word Copy appended to it.
Note: If the imported partition set has campaign type No Type designated to it, this can be set by clicking the button Set Type and selecting the correct campaign type from the drop-down list.
