Legal document content Preferences message component

Preferences messages allow your organization to collect and manage an end-user's marketing preferences and/or acceptance of legal documents. In this article, we will cover the key aspects of the Legal document content component in the Preferences message builder which will be used to surface the content for a legal document added to your Legal Document Library via text editor and added to a legal preference category that you have set up elsewhere in your configuration.

  Note: Only legal documents added via text editor can have their content displayed using the Legal document content component.

From the Preferences message builder, add the Legal document content component to you message by clicking the + icon in the Toolbar pane.

Select the Legal Doc Content component from the subsequent modal.

An empty legal document component will be added to your message. Select the component and expand the Settings accordion in the Settings pane.

Field Description
Container Select the legal documented created via text editor within your Legal Document Library.
Version Preview

Enables your organization to preview different versions of the legal document stored in the Legal Document Library.

  Note: Only the version of the legal document with a Live status will ultimately be used in the rendering of your message to end-users. 

Enable Button on Scroll Turns buttons with a Save and Exit action into conditional buttons that can only be selected once the legal document content has been completely scrolled through. In this case, scrolling through the legal document content is implicit end-user opt in for the legal document.
