Inline Preferences message

An inline Preferences message allows your organization to add to or replace the content of an existing HTML element on a web page with your Preferences message. This display is achieved by inputting the target HTML element's ID or class in the Preferences message builder.

Click Messages on the left-hand panel and select Preferences. 

Use the property field in the upper right-hand corner to select a property for which you will create an inline Preferences message.

Click + New Message to create a new Preferences message.

Use the subsequent page to customize the Preferences message for the property.

While on the Home view of the Preferences message builder expand the Settings accordion on the right-hand Settings panel.

Select Inline from the Message Type field. Use the subsequent field to input the div target type (Class or ID) or name.

The ID or class name needs to be unique and placed on your page where you would like the inline Preferences message to show.

Click Create Message when finished to save your progress.
